The Strathcona Vintage Tractor Association (SVTA) is a non-profit society that was formed in 2005 to provide a club for residents in and around Strathcona County interested in the preservation of Alberta's agricultural history. Our members share a common interest in vintage farming along with the collection and preservation of vintage tractors, farm machinery and implements, garden tractors, stationary engines, farm tools and farm toys. Many of our members are involved with vintage (pre-1960) tractor pulling at events across Alberta. Our members share a common appreciation of old iron but you do not need to own a tractor to be a club member.

Our club's home base is now at our new "North Field" site just north of Strathcona County's historic Bremner Mansion on Range Road 225. We host our annual Vintage Tractor Pull & Show at our north field location every August.

We participate in local activities such as parades, displays, and other events in support of other community groups. We also host a number of family social events throughout the year.  We currently have 170 members and we welcome anyone interested in antique farm equipment, farming history and vintage tractor pulling.
